“The Break”

By MCML Alumni Kimberly Black

To every woman about to begin your My Circle, My Life journey…

I’ll jump first.

There’s something sacred about having a safe place to heal.
It’s not just a luxury—it’s vital. Healing is holy work, and it demands a space that doesn’t judge your past or rush your process.

The sacredness of having a safe place to heal is vital to any healing journey. That’s what My Circle, My Life became for me—a sacred space where the break became my bridge to wholeness.

The breaking is more than just ceremonial.
It’s not just symbolic—it’s spiritual.
It’s not just a process—it’s a divine agreement.

You have to agree to be crushed—not because you’re worthless, but because something greater is inside you.
Agree to be exposed—not for shame’s sake, but for truth’s sake.
Agree to be vulnerable.
Agree to be challenged in your thinking.
Agree to be honest with YOUR NOW.

Because it’s in the breaking that you understand exactly where you are, what you’re dealing with, and you finally ask that real, raw question:

HOW DID I GET HERE?

The best part about the breaking…
is The Breaker.

Who is The Breaker?

KING JESUS.
The One who sees all and knows all.
The One who knows every offense, every hurt, every failure, every trauma, every failed relationship, every wrong touch…

And yet—He still stays.
He doesn’t just break the stigma, the shame, the abandonment, the rejection, and the depression.
He goes further—He deals with the root.

In reality, the breaking is exactly that: exposing the root.

The lie. The fear. The silence. The pretending. The performance.
It all gets uprooted in the hands of the Breaker.

And once the root is exposed, healing begins.

I didn’t just survive the breaking—I embraced it.
I jumped first.
Not knowing where I would land, I trusted the God who catches.
I dared to believe that my break was not the end—but a holy beginning.

And now, I speak to every woman afraid to be seen…
Afraid to confront the weight of your now…
Afraid of what the breaking might expose…

I’ll jump first.

Let Him break you. Let Him heal you.
Let Him show you who you really are.
Because healing isn’t just possible—it’s promised.

And when the Breaker is in the room, restoration is not a question…
It’s a guarantee.

Your healing starts now.
With love and courage,
